Seaside Maternity Photography: Mandy + Dave
There’s something truly magical about shooting on the Oregon Coast. Even on a fairly grey day, the skies and textures of the beach come through beautifully on film. That’s why I was so excited when a former client got together with some friends to hire me to travel out to Seaside to take maternity and newborn photos as a baby shower gift for Mandy and Dave.
I decided to make a weekend of it, even though it’s not that far away, and drove out a day early with my boyfriend to walk on the beach, eat some clam chowder, and catch one of the prettiest sunsets I’ve ever seen (iPhone photos of which, incidentally, can be seen here on my blog). The next morning I met up with Mandy and Dave (and their adorable dog Queso) and got some lovely pictures on the beach and in the tall grasses of the dunes near their Seaside home. I couldn’t be happier with the way they turned out!
