LOCAL PORTLAND DESIGN, BRANDING AND STRATEGY AGENCY EROI NEEDED STAFF PHOTOGRAPHS FOR THE "CREW" PAGE OF THEIR NEW WEBSITE. MORE THAN A SIMPLE HEADSHOT GIG, THE CHALLENGE WAS TO CREATE FULL-LENGTH PORTRAITS THAT SHOWCASED WHAT MAKES EACH INDIVIDUAL TEAM MEMBER UNIQUE, ON AND OFF THE JOB, MAINTAINING A SLIGHTLY QUIRKY YET OVERALL PROFESSIONAL MOOD. AMiRA jewelry

Amira's photography needs for her thriving handmade jewelry business were threefold. The first was a media request: she needed "behind-the-scenes" images of herself in her workshop for a feature that was being written about her - photos that would illustrate some of her process and show off the color and energy of her business and her dedication to her craft. Second, she needed some professional headshots to use in a wide variety of web, social media, and print (AND BECAUSE EVERYONE NEEDS A GOOD HEADSHOT!). And third, she needed some images that showed off the beautiful jewelry itself. because of the colorful nature of her jewelry, we decided on sharp, well-lit product shots on seamless white. 

Emilie Lauren + Znama Dance Studio

Portland belly dancer Emilie Lauren needed images for her website redesign and for various marketing, web and social media purposes. We provided images for her in three stages, shooting on-location in the columbia river gorge for some dramatic environmental dance portraits, in my studio against a white backdrop for an array of sharp, high-contrast dance-in-action photos, and teaching a class in her dance studio to show the space and dancers in action.
