Urban Wedding Photography - Katie + Eric at the EcoTrust’s Redd on Salmon

I’ve been looking forward to Katie and Eric’s wedding all summer! I knew from their engagement session that they would be great fun to photograph on their wedding day. I’ve also been looking forward to my first opportunity to shoot at the EcoTrust’s new Eastside location, the Redd on Salmon. I was definitely not disappointed on either count.

I loved all the fun opportunities we had for photos with the happy couple, from Tanner Springs Park to the waterfront to the venue itself. I loved to watch the melding of their two families, with their different traditions but same love and excitement for the day. And I loved all the modern, urban touches to the wedding, from the big industrial event space to the beautiful Airstream trailer bar and the boozy Sloshy Pops instead of a wedding cake. Most of all, I loved how much fun everyone was having!
