Hoyt Arboretum and Portland Backyard Wedding Photography - Charlotte + Paul in Forest Park
Charlotte and Paul found me just a few weeks before their wedding and I just happened to have their date free. I’m so glad I did, because this wedding was so beautiful and heartfelt - I was so glad to be a part of their very special day. From their intimate morning ceremony amidst the quiet of the giant redwoods in Hoyt Arboretum, to the post-ceremony brunch in the wedding meadow, to their lively, fun backyard reception, every part of the day was warm and thoughtful. The bride’s sister made a beautiful three-tiered cake, the bridesmaids put together a fun little photo-booth and a confetti entrance, the groomsmen took care of the music (and the piñata!), and moms and aunts and other assorted family members were hard at work organizing and decorating all day - you could really feel the love and community around this happy couple. What a special way to start a life together.
Thanks so much to Charlotte and Paul (and all their family and friends) for making me a part of your big day!
