Theater Wedding! Phil + Eric at the Armory in Portland
What a beautiful wedding this was! I’ve been looking forward to Phil and Eric’s wedding at the Armory all year, and it didn’t disappoint. You could really feel how excited this lovely couple was to be tying the knot. They had a beautiful ceremony on the mezzanine of the Armory (home of Portland Center Stage), followed by a delightful brunch. Afterwards, we were lucky enough to have perfect weather as we took photos of the happy couple in Tanner Springs Park, and then ended the day with an all-you-can-play party and pizza at Portland’s beloved grown-up arcade, Ground Kontrol. The day really could not have gone any better!
As a side note, I’ve been waiting a long time for an opportunity to shoot a wedding at the Armory - I love all of the fun photographic possibilities inside - especially the fun lightbulbs hanging across the mezzanine and grand staircase in the entryway. It was also lovely to see and work with Amy Pereria of Be & Be Weddings again - she is always such a lovely, calming presence on any wedding day!
