Another wedding, another sweet couple and their lovely family! St. Mary’s in NW Portland is a beautiful setting for a wedding ceremony, and afterwards we went to Hoyt Arboretum, one of the couple’s favorite spots in Portland, for some family and bridal party photos. Then we finished our day with delicious food, laughter, celebration at Brix Tavern in the Pearl. . .
I had been looking forward to Ian and Rebecca’s lovely backyard wedding ever since my engagement session with them and their adorable baby this spring, and it was such a delight. These two did an astounding amount of work to transform their yard into a beautiful ceremony and reception site, and with a new baby in the mix, no less. It was really SUCH an accomplishment. And I definitely need to shout out Rebecca’s amazing brother, who not only prepared most of the food (with the help of his partner), but also officiated! What an MVP! And Rebecca’s cousin, who put together their gorgeous floral arrangements, and their bridal party, who set up all their tables and decorations. I love it when family and friends come together to make a beautiful, memorable day for my couples. . .
I’ve been waiting SO LONG for this wedding and it’s finally almost here! I had a lovely afternoon in Washington Park with Brianna, Rob, and their sweet, old, very deaf dog (she looked at me once at the beginning of our shoot and then never again, but at least that shot was a cute one!). These two are such troopers through lots of rescheduling, and I can’t wait to finally get to photograph their wedding celebration this summer.
Beautiful Spring Engagement Sessions continue, this time with an adorable 4-month old in the mix! We got some great, smiley baby photos right off the bat on this gorgeous afternoon, which is always such a relief when there’s a little one involved. Later on, when the little guy was OVER IT, we tucked him safely in his car seat and got a few with just the happy couple. . .
Spring is finally here in Portland, Oregon! That means, of course, that I get to schedule and then reschedule engagement sessions due to the rain. This lovely couple only had to reschedule once, though, and we had an absolutely beautiful afternoon in Forest Park’s Hoyt Arboretum, so I’d call this a big win. It was so great to finally meet them in person, and I can’t wait for their wedding this summer!
I’m so excited that Spring is here and Engagement Sessions are back! I had a lovely afternoon among the cherry blossoms at Ft. Vancouver with Stephanie and Brady recently, and I couldn’t be happier with how the photos turned out! I can’t wait to photography their wedding later this year.
I met these two at Sebastian’s grandmother’s family reunion/wedding celebration last summer, and I’m so excited to be capturing their wedding later this year! It’s always so fun to return to clients as their families grow over the years. Cascade Locks treated us to a lovely late afternoon glow and a view of the Bridge of the Gods, one of my favorite spots in the Columbia River Gorge. I can’t wait to see what it holds for their wedding this fall!
I had such a lovely time with these two up at Timberline Lodge! It feels good to be getting slightly back to normal, and it’s so much fun to spend time with some of my clients who are getting married next year! We lucked out with some beautiful weather and a lovely sunset. Engagement session win!
