Oregon Vineyard Wedding Photography: Anne + Adam at Cooper Mountain Vineyards

Anne and Adam were married at her family’s Oregon Vineyard late last summer.  When we met up the weekend before, it was pouring down rain and Anne was a little nervous about their lack of weather contingency plans.  Adam had complete faith, though, and turned out to be right — their wedding day was clear, sunny, and VERY bright.

Weddings like this one are an absolute delight to photograph – from the happy, fun wedding couple to their lovely family and friends, there were big emotions, laughter, and tears (the good kind) to catch almost everywhere I looked.  Add to that the lovely setting of the winery and the thought and attention put into their unique DIY details (adorable rustic welcome signs and chalkboards for the menu and seating assignments, flower arrangements put together by the bride’s family, the DIY “photobooth” with hanging picture frames and instant cameras, the handmade chuppa — the list goes on…) and you pretty much have a photographer’s playground.  It was the kind of day that makes me happy to be a wedding photographer in Portland, Oregon.  The biggest problem was trying to narrow down the photos afterwards!

This wedding had a fantastic team of professionals that helped to make it beautiful, delicious, and smooth-as-silk, including:

The lovely Emily from Bridal Bliss, confidently coordinating the day,
Amazing food (including salmon smoked on-site over a giant firepit) by Chef Andrew of Hunt and Gather Catering,
Live bluegrass music during dinner and cocktail hour by the Water Tower Bucket Boys, and
Lively music for dancing into the night provided by DJ Chad Dowling Productions
