Chelsea and Audrey chose the Columbia River Gorge Hotel for their intimate wedding both for its beautiful setting and for its sense of Old Hollywood glamour. I had never been there before, so I arrived a little early to check out our photography options, and I was thrilled - despite the rainy weather. The dogwood trees and cherry blossoms in full bloom created a riot of pink throughout the property, adding a stunning foreground to the already beautiful views of the Columbia River. . .
I met Sydney and Sebastian last year at his grandmother Nilda’s family reunion/wedding celebration, and I’ve been looking forward to seeing the family again for their wedding ever since. One of the best parts of my job is getting to know my clients’ families and see them grow and celebrate with them over the years. Nilda arranged the beautiful flowers for this wedding, the whole family worked together on delicious food and desserts and decorations, and it all came together in a really beautiful, personal celebration. . .
This Crag Rat Hut wedding was incredibly personal and amazingly beautiful. Even just editing the ceremony photos, weeks after the lovely event, made me tear up all over again - there were so many beautiful, memorable moments over the course of a gorgeous day. From the brides' excitement during their first look, to the prayer sang in three part harmony by the whole group and the brides tearing up during their ceremony, to the dinner made with the help of friends and family - everything was unique to this amazing couple . . .
Sarah and Maggie's wedding was one of the most touching and heartfelt events I have ever had the privilege to photograph, and the photos are beautiful to boot! I can't wait to share them all, but in the meantime, here's a little sneak preview...
I've been looking forward to Kyle + Kristin's Hood River wedding ever since our super fun Trillium Lake Engagement Session a few months ago, and it didn't disappoint! Such a lovely day with a lovely couple. More soon!
Jessica contacted me last year after after looking through my portfolio and realizing that TWO of her coworkers were either a bride or groom in my past weddings. It's funny how much Portland can feel like such a small town sometimes. Anyway, I can't wait to share this beautiful Mt. Hood Bed + Breakfast wedding - beautiful couple, gorgeous mountain views, lovely details... it's gonna be a good one!
This beautiful expectant mom had a vision for her maternity photos: she wanted to have them taken with her family in a field of lavender. She lives in North Carolina, where lavender isn't exactly abundant, but she was not to be deterred by such a detail. She did a little research, and came across Lavender Valley, and me, and we started planning. . .
